The Europe Gulf Forum is an initiative of Theodore Kyriakou, Chairman of Antenna Group, in partnership with the Atlantic Council.
Hosted by the Antenna Group, a leading international media, content and entertainment organization, in partnership with the Atlantic Council, the leading think tank working to advance global leadership and engagement on the world’s critical challenges, the Forum is conceived as the first dedicated platform for strategic cooperation between Europe and the Gulf. Frederick Kempe, President and CEO of the Atlantic Council, is co-chair of the Europe Gulf Forum.
The origins of this initiative are closely tied to the history of K Group, the international multi-sector business of the Kyriakou family. For more than 170 years, the Kyriakou family has built long-standing trusted relationships across regions, industries and markets, from shipping to media, content, entertainment, asset management and real estate.
The Atlantic Council brings unmatched convening power and international subject-matter expertise, built on a 65-year history defined by its mission to shape the global future alongside partners and allies.
This legacy of trust and connection is central to the Forum.
At a defining moment of geopolitical fragmentation and rapid economic transformation, the Europe Gulf Forum brings together heads of state, prime ministers, senior policy makers and investors to a trusted platform designed to advance strategic cooperation, and forge outcomes of real consequence for both Europe and the Gulf.
The conflict in the Middle East has already transformed the regional security dynamics and reshaped the global economy. Against this backdrop, the Forum is more relevant, necessary, and timely than ever. By convening an exclusive group of leaders with authority and institutional weight, it will advance peace, security, and stability, while preventing further disruption to vital energy flows.
The inaugural Europe Gulf Forum, taking place in Greece on May 15–17, 2026, is intended as a first step in establishing a permanent platform that adapts to the shifting priorities of the two regions, in an increasingly complex global landscape.
Announced in September 2025 on the margins of the 80th United Nations General Assembly in New York, the Forum already brought together 30 prime ministers and senior political, investment, and business leaders to discuss a range of political, economic, and security challenges. Those discussions helped shape the Forum’s priorities and agenda in Greece, marking the beginning of sustained high-level engagement, with additional leadership convenings planned throughout the year.
